In 1993 Harold Mandelbaum recognized that accounting, asset
management and insurance needs could be better addressed through
one combined plan. Mr. Mandelbaum designed his approach to meet his
clients needs offering a personalized comprehensive service that bridges
the gap between traditional accounting services, asset management and
insurance advice. This service is provided under the guidance of specially
trained Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a higher level of licensing that
a planner can achieve.
Combined with being a CPA Mr. Mandelbaum is also a Personal Financial
Specialist (PFS), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) as well as a fully
licensed to manage assets and provide insurance advise. A CFP is a
professional who has been specially trained, educated and tested to
provide planning advice. A PFS is a Certified Public Accountant who has
chosen to be specially trained, tested, and educated in the discipline of
financial planning. The PFS is an exclusive designation controlled by the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and can only be
achieved by those planners who are first willing to go through the
advanced training of becoming a CPA.
Prior to founding Harold N. Mandelbaum, CPA, PFS, CFP Mr. Mandelbaum
worked for Lehman Brothers in the New York City retail sales division
and for Joseph A Salamo CPA, PFS, CFP. His experience included tax and
asset management and business management services for private
businesses and high net worth individuals.
Mr. Mandelbaum has College degrees in Accounting, Economics and a
minor in Finance from Syracuse University and William Patterson College.
Mr. Mandelbaum has been published in Who’s Who’s in the World, Who’s
Who in America, and Who’s Who in Finance and Industry.
